2012 Big Shoes to Fill on the O-line

USA Returns 7 starters on offense, and 10 on a very good defense. Very solid numbers overall.
Both sides of the ball possess size and speed. The depth on the defensive side of the ball will not be a concern, the same cannot be said for the offense which loses 3 starters along the offensive line. The Left Tackle, Left Guard, and Right Tackle positions have all been vacated due to graduation of seniors. The good news is that every one of the replacements is bigger than the previous starters by a considerable margin. It is also convenient that the new spread offense is being implemented in that it will be placed upon them to set the precedent for years to come.

These are the men who will have to step up at their new starting positions on the offensive line.

  • 57 Tremain Smith 6"4' 305lbs LT
  • 72 Drew Dearman 6"3' 310lbs LG
  • 73 Shaun Artz 6"4' 290lbs RT
Tremain Smith (57) and Drew Dearman (72) will need to step up to rebuild the left side of the line.
